Get a Jump on AOE21 with On-Demand Sessions
As you prepare for this summer’s Assembly on Education Symposium (AOE), get a jump on your education with on-demand sessions from last year’s event.
These affordable selections were curated by AHIMA staff to maximize your AOE21 experience and get a head start on shaping your Fall semester. Additionally, earn between two and five CEUs per session. Courses include:
Instructional Design Strategies: Focused on online teaching tools and strategies, these four sessions are ideal for both new and experienced faculty. Learn about the universal design for learning, process-oriented guided inquiry learning, a digital-first approach to course development, and creating an interactive curriculum. CEUs: 3
New Faculty Orientation: These three sessions provide information about various assessment options for new faculty, but they also benefit anyone looking to reinforce their skills in developing educational content. CEUs: 3
From Students to Leaders: This trio of sessions focuses on achieving a classroom culture that cultivates student focus, curiosity, perspective, compassion, and resilience. CEUs: 2
Developing Engaging Presentations: This interactive workshop-style presentation identifies the core characteristics of engaging presentations, including concepts of structure, narrative devices, space, body, and voice, and questions and challenges. CEUs: 5
These sessions will not be available at AOE21, so take advantage of this enhanced education opportunity.
AOE21, a live virtual event, and on-demand experience is scheduled for July 26-28. Engage with your peers and colleagues on social media, including AHIMA Access, with the hashtag #AOE21.
