Using Theory to Engage Students to Practice Immersion Classes
The literature has shown that participation and engagement in the learning process increase retention and knowledge building. Being such, the development of immersion classes based on professional world activities is an effective way to engage students and build their learning. This presentation will discuss how to build an immersion class and measure outcomes. Although a class will be used as an example, the material can be replicated for any class at any level of student.
