Dr. Fanny Hawkins, RHIA, has 30 years of Health Information Management experience including: HIM Manager Revenue Cycle Business Services, Director of a Health Information Management Bachelor of Science Program, Director of Health Information Services, Review Supervisor for the Texas Medical Foundation, Department Chair for Health Sciences Programs. Dr. Hawkins , completed a Post Doc Fellowship in Health Informatics at Baylor College of Medicine. Her research focuses on health information, clinical documentation, evaluating clinical data in the EMR, EMR Project Management, and innovative ways to provide Professional Practice Experience to Health Information Students.
