JoAnn Jordan, PhD, MPH, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P

 

JoAnn Jordan, PhD, MPH, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, has over 25 years of professional healthcare experience in a variety of organizational settings and has built a reputation as an energetic and supportive team leader. She is a known subject matter expert in health information management and informatics, and has used her expertise to help develop curriculum for educational institutions all across the globe. With her energetic and engaging style, Dr. Jordan is a dynamic contributor to organizational training and professional health information resources. Her primary interests are in improving quality health outcomes, employee satisfaction and efficiency through interdepartmental collaboration and teamwork. Dr. Jordan obtained her BA and MPH from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and her PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Rutgers University. She is the current Chair of the MS in Health Informatics, the BS Health Information Management, and BS Health Sciences Programs. She holds multiple credentials including the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and a Certified Coding Professional - Physician (CCS-P).
