Laurie A. Rinehart-Thompson, JD, RHIA, CHP, FAHIMA is a professor and the program director of the Health Information Management and Systems program at The Ohio State University. She is a co-editor and an author of AHIMA's Fundamentals of Law for Health Informatics and Information Management and author of Introduction to Health Information Privacy and Security.
