Marjorie Rosen, MBA-MDR, RHIA, Approved RCM Trainer, has been a healthcare executive for over 20 years. She has worked with several industries including, hospitals, physician, durable medical equipment, clinical trials, hospice, Medicare and Medicaid services, public health organizations, behavioral health, skilled nursing homes, private duty, in-home and home health. She has received several awards throughout her career. Some national awards include: Clinical Manager of the Year, Innovation at Large, Faculty of the Quarter, and Revenue Superstar Award. Marjorie has worked both granular and at high levels by providing training to providers, vendors, and state agencies, and at congressional meetings and national leadership symposiums. She currently holds the title of vice president of education and advocacy for the Arizona HIMSS chapter and is the director of advocacy for the AZHIMA component association (CA). On a personal level, she loves to read and watch science fiction and fantasy. She spends her free time working with rescue dogs and training new puppies. She was a volunteer mentor and the youth coordinator for Gateway Pet Guardians and is now a breeder of toy Australian Shepherds. She is an adventurous foodie with a love of Asian cuisine.
