Nicole Van Andel, MS, RHIA, CHPS, CHDA, has been an Indiana resident for her entire life. She received her master’s degree in adult education and bachelor's degree in HI administration from Indiana University. She teaches courses in hi management, research methods and analysis, project manager, registered health information administrator prep exam, and places students in their Professional Practice Experience sites. She has served as the Indiana Health Information Management Association (IHIMA) president twice. She is currently serving as the IHIMA communications chair and delegate. Mrs. Van Andel is also on the AHIMA Triumph Awards Committee.
