Reneé Fiser
Reneé Fiser is an educational technologist in the Office of Distance Learning at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with over 30 years of experience in education. Reneé is an enthusiastic professional who has dedicated her career to learning and implementing engaging technology tools in the classroom and presenting this technology to faculty and staff. Born and raised in Lake Charles, LA, Reneé obtained a master’s degree in education from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 2010 and a bachelor of science degree from McNeese State University in 1991. Renee has since taught as a web development instructor at Lone Star College in The Woodlands, TX, and as a web design and digital media high school teacher in Lake Charles, where she retired. She also has industry-based certifications as a Certified Webmaster and Adobe Certified Instructor. As an instructional technologist and tool specialist, Renee’ has expertise in educational technology tools and how to utilize these tools in online and hybrid classrooms. She can present pedagogical and technological skills to faculty and is committed to helping faculty members at UL Lafayette achieve their online and hybrid goals of teaching students effectively.
